OUR STORY
The three of us have been close friends for many years, bound by our shared passion for Kenya’s wildlife, landscapes, and vibrant communities. Over the years, we have organized many safaris for volunteers and visitors, creating unforgettable experiences that celebrate the beauty of the country.
Their positive feedback inspired us to create something bigger: a way for tourists to explore Kenya not just as visitors, but as guests who engage meaningfully with the land, its people, and its communities. Together, we combine our love for adventure with a commitment to giving back, ensuring every journey supports local communities while leaving lasting memories for our guests.
Habel Nzai
Habel is a local guide from Kenya who grew up in the village of Kingston. From an early age, he developed a strong connection to nature, wildlife, and the local community.
For over five years, he has been leading safaris together with his cousin. With his knowledge, passion, and friendly personality, Habel ensures guests experience Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes in an authentic and memorable way.
Lisi Felder
Lisi first came to Kenya as a volunteer in 2016, and since then her heart has remained with Kenya, its children, and families. Originally from Austria, she is a teacher and the founder of a community-based organization PAMOJA-mitanand (CBO) established in Malindi in 2019.
Together with her Kenyan team, she supports children and families in need and runs a local education center focused on empowerment, education, and skill-building for the community.
Claudia Kenga
Claudia is a co-founder of the CBO, which she started together with Lisi. She is currently the manager of the education center and oversees daily operations.
Previously, she worked at a travel agency in Watamu, where she organized many safaris and travel experiences. With her strong local network and experience, she knows the drivers and accommodations well and helps ensure every safari is smoothly organized.

OUR PROJECTS
Education Center in Mkaomoto
PAMOJA-mitanand runs an education and community center in Mkaomoto, including a public library, a youth center as well as a, computer room and a tailoring workshop, where trainings are offered.
From here, school workshops, building projects, and family support programs are organized to strengthen the local community and create better opportunities for children, young people, and families.
Farm in Madunguni
Visit our farm in Madunguni, where okra, maize, and other local vegetables are grown. During the tour, we stop to visit the village elder and her family and experience authentic local life.
We also take a trip to the beautiful Sabaki River, where we cross the river in a traditional canoe, cut fresh sugarcane ourselves, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading back to Malindi.
Kindergarten in Kwaupanga
The SOLWOGIDI Kindergarten provides a safe and loving place for children from disadvantaged families. Around 50 children receive education, daily meals, and emotional support.
Together with PAMOJA-mitanand and generous supporters, we help keep this important place alive and give children the chance for a better future through education, care, and community.
